I failed to do my due diligence and research before buying a sim card adapter. I recently purchased a Note 5 as a backup phone because I was having some issues with my Galaxy S5. I figured it would be easy to switch back and forth. I was wrong, the Note 5 uses a Nano sim card while the SGS 5 uses a micro sim card.
So today bought a cheap - no name $3.90 sim adapter from Amazon only to find out that it won't fit in the sim slot on the S5.
So after discovering this problem I did some research and found out about an adapter called Sadapter which is allegedly much higher quality albeit 3 times the price. So I ordered one of those. Fortunately Amazon is giving me a full refund on the junk adapter.
Meanwhile I need any suggestions or advice on the selection and use of sim card adapters, will my second choice work? Will I continually be plagued by adapters that won't fit in the SGS5's slot?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
