This is my first post, so bear with me! It's pretty long but if you can help me I'll love you forever!
So I'm on Virgin Mobile and have had a used Optimus V for almost a year, and after some battery issues really want to get a new phone. I tinkered around with it and have IHO CyanogenMod 7 (Spelling, I know) with an ICS theme on it because I love how stock looks like. The phone itself has gone through some scratches and all but has remained a trooper, but it constantly freezes or would not wake up, as well as doubling every letter on the stock keyboard sometimes, which can be extremely frustrating when I need to send an urgent text.
I'm hanging on to a grandfathered 25 a month plan, and am wondering if there is any way to sell it online if I can?
But my main question is about the HTC One V. I've had my eye on this phone for a while when it was first announced. I love the fact that it has ICS but I'm not too keen on Sense, as I think it would take away from the horsepower I need. Optimus One has stock Froyo. Is Sense too demanding?
Second, if you know anything about the Optimus V, you'd know there is a storage frustration. I'm constantly hanging on to ~20 MB internal even with most of my apps installed to SD, which I try to avoid for speed. I don't want to do partitions as it seems slightly risky on my 16GB card, but how is the space on the One V (after bloatware?)? How many free MBs do you have?
Thirdly, I heard that the HTC One line except the V is getting Jelly Bean. I recently got the Nexus 7 for my mother and love Jelly Bean. Is there any way of porting in the future? My other phone on sight is the Optimus Elite but it's running Gingerbread.
Battery Life?
One of the only reasons why I'm getting this is mostly for the camera and ICS, should I save a few bucks and go for the Optimus Elite? It has NFC and removable battery?
Buying an Android has never been this confusing :/
