Decided to call the number that was posted for an early upgrade. I bought my epic at the same time I started my contract (september 5 2010). I was told when I bought my phone I would be eligible for an upgrade after 1 year. I decided I didn't want a keyboard so I went online to buy the epic touch and it said I won't be eligible until july of 2010 (wtf). I remembered a post about calling a toll free number to get your upgrade early if you lost your upgrade due to changes in their program. I found the number in the thread and gave them a call. I explained what I wanted to do and the 1st guy I talked to said I would have been eligible but they changed the program. He said he would try to get my date moved up. When he got back on the line I was informed in no uncertain terms, that they were no longer allowed to change an upgrade date for any reason. The only way to get an upgrade would be me to pay full price or wait until july. I am freaking pissed as I was supposed to be eligible for an upgrade after a year. They changed the rules in the middle of my contact now I have to wait. There is nothing stopping them from changing it again before july and screwing me again.
