Whenever I kill processes of certain apps(eg. facebook, audible) they just keep coming back. My device is always using more than half of its ram when im not even using any apps.
What's the best app to solve this problem?

Many of those apps that resurrect do that because you have accepted their terms and permissions to run when you downloaded them. Some require that they run in the background or on startup even if you haven't used them. Check permissions before you install.

Is there any way to turn off this feature in the settings so that they do not automatically come back?

Did you read the article that Jerry posted above?

How do I stop Linux(Android) from doing this?
You can't disable disk caching. The only reason anyone ever wants to disable disk caching is because they think it takes memory away from their applications, which it doesn't! Disk cache makes applications load faster and run smoother, but it NEVER EVER takes memory away from them! Therefore, there's absolutely no reason to disable it!
