Need help asap

I have a Verizon s6 it is completely locked up on me and the screen is unresponsive. I don't know how to get it to reset since I can't just pull the battery I hold the power button and the shutdown restart comes up but since my screen touch doesn't work I can't hit restart I messaged samsung but they aren't getting back but I need my phone ASAP as my dad is in the hospital and should be discharged soon and he needs to call me! Please help is there any combinations of buttons to push to get it to restart I'm getting more and more frustrated with the phone every day

Try holding Power and the Volume Down buttons simultaneously for about 7 secs. According to documentation that should restart the device.

I'd still call tech support and let them remote into your phone. An exchange might be what's needed to avoid this happening again at the most inopportune moment.
