Need help..cannot see my words on phone in landscape

I need some help for sure. This only happens when using my pop3 work email...

When I have the phone turned to landscape and am typing, I cannot see the words being typed. When I turn it vertical, the words show up that I've typed.

No issues with this in my messages folder or my Gmail acct.

Does anyone have an idea why this is happening. Just started doing this yesterday.

Please disregard, I fixed the issue with a power down and restart.
