I have had my evo for a few weeks now. I have 3 yahoo email accounts and they are all set up on my phone. From day 1 I have never been notified when i rec'd a new email (no sound, no green light, no icon). The only way i would know if there was new mail was to click on the acct, it would then refresh and thats when i would see if i had new mail or not. I dont love this system, but just figured thats how it is with the evo.
Then a couple nights ago, for no apparent reason, every time i got a new email i would get a sound, the green light, and an icon. I was so excited! I didnt know how this happened, but i was glad it did!
But, as mysteriously as this started...it stopped again in less than 24 hours! I am so confused!
I would REALLY like to get the notifications! Can anyone explain to me WHAT the deal is and how i can permanently get my email notifications????
