Need help finding a suitable note taking app... which do you recommend?

I'm looking for an offline note taking app that saves to the SD. Prefer apps with a clean, holo look but not really required. You guys (and gals) have any favorites? Let me know. Thanks in advance.

I guess "note taking" isn't exactly the right description for what I'm looking for. What I mean is a memo application, typed.
