I have a LG Stylo 3 from Straight Talk. Before getting this phone I had a LG G5 from U.S. Cellular. When I'm at home, I use the G5 on WiFi because it's a better phone. It doesn't have service or anything. A few days ago I came across my G5 box and opened it and seen the little thing that you get the SIM card out with. I don't know why but I wanted to see what would happen if I switched the SIM cards. So I put the G5s SIM in my Stylo And the Stylos in the G5. I left it in for a few minutes and changed them back.
Well, now I can't do anything on my phone. I can call and send text messages, but can not do anything on the internet unless I am on WiFi. Even out of WiFi I have 4G and all bars, I just can not do anything on it. Before I done the SIM card thing, I had been roaming and with straight talk you do not have service when roaming at all. So I done the *228 thing on my dial pad to update the roaming towers, but nothing happened. I looked up some other dial pad codes and I used two others that I can't remember the number off, maybe *2289 or *22891?
Could either of those have been the cause of this issue? I have went through every single setting, I have checked all mobile network settings, all battery saving settings, WiFi,I have checked all of them over and over and I can not figure this out.
Does anyone know how I can fix this? Or if me switching SIMS could of done it? Or the updating roaming towers? I don't know what to do to fix it, I have checked every single setting on my phone. Please help!!
