need help newbie

so i downgraded, then i did all the other stuff to root it. so its rooted but it did not updated to 2.1. what did i do wrong?

I'm assuming you sbf'd to 2.01 when u said you downgraded. What method did you use to root?

yes, then i did all the steps to update. the only thing was that i was having trouble with was thd cmd part. i couldnt get the files to combine. so i used a pre download one.

Is there a certain rom you're wanting or do you just want stock, but rooted 2.1?

That's a personal preference, but lately I've been kinda switching from the rooted stock 2.1 and cyanogen 5.0.6.2, for me those run the best on my phone and if you download ROM Manager from market it is quick and easy to switch back and forth. (You can download and install other Roms and themes from it too) Get the premium version also if you want the other roms and themes.
