i have a droid incredible thats not rooted. I did a battery pull and ever since the battery pull my phone does a constant reboot. It takes it ten minutes to get off the HTC incredible screen then it boots all the way up to the red eye then goes back to the HTC incredible screen. I am running 2.2. I have tried rooting but since it keeps rebooting i cant put it into usb debugging. I have also tried to do an update through the recovery process but it goes half way and says something to the effect of that the e: is not signed verified. Any help would be highly appreciated. thanks

i tried factory reset and it does not help at all. also wiped device. that has not helped yet

i would think this is what the reps at verizon would ask you to do..think i'd take it back for another one.

just curious, why did you do the battery pull in the first place?

I would take it to a Corporate Verizon Store that has a tech on duty. They should be able to re-flash back to stock. Sounds like a system file got corrupted when you pulled the battery.

I had the same thing happen to me a couple of days ago. I went to a Verizon store and they shipped me another one. Just got the new (refurbished) phone today and the same problem happened after I activated the phone. I again went back to the Verizon store and this time they are shipping me a phone as well as a battery. Hoping the next phone and new battery will solve the problem.

i have a friend with a phone that is doing the same thing thought it would be a easy fix but i tried the factory wipe and it atually got the phone stuck more into a bootloop at just the white screemn now and no ruu is connecting and at first it used t turn on and get this android process error then restart but dont now what to do is ther any stock pc31img file i could download to see if it will flash in hboot?
