Hi, for some reason my Note 5's battery life is only 12hours and 50mins from full charge. I have to charge it twice a day. Before I never had to charge it twice a day - only once a day. My note 5 is the SM-N9208 (Dual Sim 64GB Silver), Android Marshmallow has not been released for it yet. Is there something wrong with my battery? I bought the phone from an eBay UK seller and PayPal's buyer protection period ends for me today midnight so I need some advice quick. In addition, the fast charging seems to have stopped working with my charger - I am using a UK travel adapter because the fast charger is 2 pin. I appreciate any suggestions on how to fix this. Thanks!

Same here. Removed couple of apps and a ring tone, which helped a little. Battery drain started with the download of February security patch.

I downloaded a security patch yesterday. So should I not worry then??? My 6 month buyer protection ends today with PayPal?!?!

Sorry, not enough info. What does your battery usage chart show under settings. For a quick and dirty possible fix do a factory reset asap.

I removed some apps that I didn't need and now my estimated time has risen to 15hrs after a full charge and fast charging seems to be working again. If I buy the aukey fast/turbo charger then will it fast charge all the time instead of sometimes like the samsung charger?

Here is the screenshot when my battery is at 33% (Screen On time is 2hrs and 19 mins)

Safe mode

Turn the device off.

Press and hold the*Power*key.

When 'Samsung Galaxy Note5' appears on the screen, release the*Power*key.

Immediately after releasing the Power key, press and hold the*Volume down*key.

Continue to hold the Volume down key until the device finishes restarting.

Safe mode*will display in the bottom left corner of the screen.

Release the*Volume down*key when you see*Safe Mode.

Okay, thanks! Will try this after my next full charge

Your screen, Facebook and Android System usage seem well within normal limits. Maybe your problem is solved.

15hrs use is fine, 20hrs could be achieved; but that depends on many factors like Screen on Time, apps actively used, cell signal, Auto brightness level...
