need help rooting and adding DJO5 to fascinate

i am to rooting and not sure what to do i just got phone and have tried doing the z4rooting which worked fine but some how verizon pushed a update threw and then i could not root phone again and messed phone up 2x i am now on my 3rd phone and thinking maybe someone should walk me threw this so that i can put the dj05 on b4 they push the up date on the phone if that is even possible

Any reason you want DL05? DL09 was rootable and ran very well that way. Don't know about the most recent E something update being rootable.

To gunnermike's point DL30 is pre-rooted Froyo. Why not flash it instead of a version 3 official versions backwards?

i was under the impression that they were the same dj05 and dj09 were the same i wanted it to stop the verizon update that also put a stop to my z4 app root after they send update i can no longer root phone and us superuser apps or anything i also need help installing the new rom if someone would not mind taking the time to help me

Head over to droidxcon's post on eb01. He provides step by step instructions on how to install the rooted version of the latest fascinate froyo build. This will allow you to get the latest and greatest version and maintain root. Just backup your apps to SD with titanium backup before you do the change. Then you can reinstall them back easily.
