Hi, i rooted my fiances phone a while back and she has the zvd baseband i believe and has been running the reborn rom for a long time now and would like to get some suggestions on a stable rom on zvd baseband (unless theirs an easy way to update to the newer basebands). She has been having all sorts of problems with reborn rom even after a fresh install after i wipe everything 3x. Not sure why these problems keep happening because im very familiar with rooting phones and flashing roms/kernels (i dont have an optimus so i don't know a whole lot about it) and i just cant figure out the problem. I also tried one of Drews older cyanogenmod 7 roms and she still seems to have random things go wrong with her phone. Just needing something stable in which everything works.

What rom/kernel combo would you suggest? Thanks

ReBorn was the most stable ROM for Froyo.

You can upgrade to ZVJ and give HydroROM a try but there are inherent bugs there too that are LG's fault. It is stable though

How about you tell us what is wrong, maybe we can fix that instead. Reborn Rom is one of the most stabs roms available. If your having problems with that you'll have problems with others as well most likely.

Insufficient storage space notifications and won't even let her send a text when there's plenty of room on the sdcard and internal. She also hasn't been able to install or upgrade any applications for the last month, starts out smooth but gets really laggy. I've tried scripts to help out with the lag but it seems impossible to fix and these problems won't be there until after a few weeks to a month and a half after the flash.

Are you using apps2sd? That can burn out an SD card and is unsupported.

Try wiping everything, reload the ROM and see how that goes.

Sounds like cache is full. I would try wiping cache from recovery. Also how many texts does she have. Especially if there pic's will cause this as well.
This is not a rom problem.
When was the last nandroid made?

Ive wiped everything and reflashed the rom multiple times before and it never fixes it.
Maybe the sdcard is bad?
