Need help transferring all my old texts from my old droid maxx to this phone

Since motorola migrate doesnt work with this new phone and samsung smart switch doesnt work with my old phone, i'm in a bit of trouble. i was able to use switch mobile to transfer all my music and pictures, but texts dont work for some reason. i was able to use the cloud to transfer all my call logs and contacts, but texts aren't all transferring for some reason (stops at about 10%). I have A LOT of texts and need them transferred. Can anyone offer any advice? Thank you

Welcome back! Try SMS Backup & Restore (or something similar) to backup the text messages from the old phone, and then restore them to the new phone.

I'm assuming you're on Verizon if you have a Droid. If so, use your Verizon messaging app to back them up on your Droid and then restore them in that app on your edge.
