Need help unlock bootloader HTC ONE!

I have a sprint htc one and it has the newest jellybean 4.3, can i still unlock the bootloader and root it?
I see a lot of instructions on the web as how to do it, but nobody said anything about either the Sprint htc one new 4.3 jellybean bootloader can be unlocked or not.
I am new to this please help, and thank you in advance

As far as I know it doesnt matter which carrier version you have, you can still unlock the bootloader and then root. Just go through the HTC dev site to get your unlock token and you should be good to go. Tons of tutorials online. I just unrooted my One to get the official 4.3 upgrade but am gonna root again once Sense 5.5 is pushed out. I'm on ATT.
