Need Help Unlocked Sanei N79

I bought a unlocked Sanei N79 smartphone/tablet off of ebay and then got a bring your own phone sim card from Straight Talk which said T-Mobile Sim with $45.00 unlimited everything I called straight talk to activate the sim card..everything went well..but the problem I'm having is I can't get on the internet or send or receive mms..I can make calls and I can send sms if I use wifi. I set the APN settings like it says in the straight talk book.. and I also did it under T-Mobile APN settings..neither one works..I also rooted the phone..any help would be great..can also reach me under saintz31794@gmail.com thank you in advance
