Need help with a frozen android screen

My mom phones just got froze as in the picture. Any ideas how to fix it??

That's the Recovery Menu--typically not something that is reached by accident. Was someone trying to flash a ROM or wipe the cache partition or something?

Let me call in backup--Golfdriver97 knows Samsung better than I do.

Try long pressing the power button. That should act like a battery pull.
