Need help with K-9mail

I hope someone can help or point me to where I can get help. I am using K-9 email and one of my accounts is up to 570 KB (others are also high but not as bad). There is no mail in the inbox so I think what the 570 KB is trash. How do I get rid of it. Is there any information I can get (read) about K-9 mail.

Go to your Account screen
long press the account
click Advanced
select Clear Messages
it will give you a warning, click OK
