need help with my phonelist.

Hey guys. i just got my incredible and ive been playing around with it but i cant figure it out how not to get the numbers of my social network contacts on my phonelist. every time i use the htc sense all this numbers from facebook and twitter pop into my phone list and i dont want that. do you guys know how to do this.
BTW i know those are not my phone contacts, but it kinds of annoys me to have all this number there when im not gonna use them since most of my friends are abroad.

Menu > Settings > Accounts & Sync

Select each of the social networks you have and turn off Sync Contacts for each one you don't want.

That doesn't seem to remove them from the Phonelist once they are there, it just keeps them from updating.. I have the same "issue" as the OP - seems as though if you use FriendStream its automatically integrating it.. I was able to remove them from my Phonelist when I disabled FriendStream, but I sorta like that part... Is there a way to do one without the other?

i tried that. but like hls811 said, they still get to the phone list, not your contacts but on the phonelist only.
