Need help with Note4 Horrible Crashes/Freezing

Hello,

I am have some problems with my note 4 I am running lolipop and everything has been awesome but just recently about a month ago the phone started to get slow and everything i try to unlock the screen or open a app it would freeze and after 30 seconds or so it would either crasher open or the whole phone would crash and restart. Somteimes it would just stay off and you cant power it for like 2 hours . I would take the battery out and press the start button then put it back it but wont start then about a hour or so later it will turn on. but it would turn on in panic mode or it would at as if its trying to download something So I tried many things from resetting the phone to factory setting. I did that 3 times. I did a hard reset where you press the power the volume and the home button to get to that mode and clean the cache and reset the phone completly I did that 3-4 times. And I delete alot of apps I never maxed out on storage I usually have 15 gb lef.t Any solutions? Thanks guys.

UHOH. Never seen one have a problem after a factory reset. Was the phone rooted? Did you load an app frokm any other store besides Google Play? Is your phone unlocked? If the answer to allof those questions is "NO," then it sounds like possibly your carrier is trying to send you an OTA update that may have failed. There are a LOT of variables there to effectively troubleshoot over the internet. Sorry, man. Good luck.

I am starting to have issues too. I sold wireless so know how to reset etc. Even tried removing SD card. Still lagging and freezing. Big issue with Facebook since last update Verizon released. I mainly check on my tablet...runs better. This is nuts. I can get a replacement but that doesn't always take care of the problem. Message app crashes a lot. Never have had issues before

Thanks for the replies guys! On regards to the questions. No I never rooted my phone nor have I ever unlocked it. I am still with the same carrier I had since I got the phone which is T-Mobile. Could it be a virus? I tried all of the top virus apps out there and on top of that I even did a hidden virus search with the app I found thats searches the phone for any hidden viruses but nothing. Could it be like some crazy virus that cant be detected? I will see if I have any updates that I never installed. I am currently at lolipop 5.1.1.

Also do you think this will stop once marshmallow releases on feb for note 4? like what ever the problem could be the new update will just over write itself?
