Need help with notification pulldown bar

I've just manually rooted my htc thunderbolt and i've tried a few different roms like DAS BAMF v.1.7 and
Liquid Thundersense that both have the power widgets on the pull down menu, does anyone know why they arent working on my phone or know how to turn them on?

Not clear data, cache, and dalvik before flashing? That's one of the only things I've seen cause this.

thanks a million for the help !! I did some research and apparantly you cant delete the dalvik cach with the rom manager, you have to manually delete it when your in the recovery mode screen. Everything works awesome now, appreciate the help
