need help with recieving text please

Hello i am new to this and overwhelmed. ikeep having this problem. i have deleted all of my text messages but when i receive new ones i get a notification that the mesages is full and i lost an in coming text. I took my phone back to the and store and they were not very helpful. Do you have any su ggestions? Thanks
