Need help with recovery

Bootloader is open had/have TWRP recovery.
So issue is I downloaded and flashed wrong stock recovery by mistake looks like the one for Nexus 5 not 5x did not notice that X was not present.
Now the phone boots up normally but will not go into recovery at all, did try using app since it's rooted but no luck.
So I'm stuck with a working phone but no way of going into system recovery.
Can't factory reset either.

Any help would be great Ty.

Basically was trying to unroot in order to run N android.

I am able to go into fastboot but nothing after.

solved ...uploaded an older version of TWRP recovery and it worked .

Did you flash the recovery through the bootloader?

I used an app for TWRP form play store to upload the older version after that update to the new.

I've heard some good stuff about them. Never used that app though.
