Need help with tethering/ wifi hotspot please...

I've rooted my Photon, have Super User.
System Version: 45.3.6
Android Version: 2.3.4

How do I get my iPad to get a wifi signal from the Photon? I've been searching the forums, but can't really make sense of some of the threads. If someone could just give me the name of the app I need, that'd be great!

I've tried DLing PDAnet, but it says I can't install it on my device.

Using this method combined with rooting using one click root installing wifi tether as in the video below.

allowed me to enable the hotspot on my phone perfectly.

I can now connect using my Tablet and surf at will if needed.

The above will only allow you to connect via ad hoc. Most tablets require infrastructure mode to connect.

If you read the first link it explains how to get wireless tether into infrastructure mode by changing the device profile but thanks for not reading all the information provided and making a comment...
