I have the g900h s5 device that I rooted a little while ago. I want to unroot the phone.

when I search for my firmware, I am getting confused by the country codes I see on the files. does the country code matter on the firmware?

when I do the *#1234#, I see:
ap: g900hxxu1ani1
cp: g900hxxu1ani1
csc: g900huub1ani1

on sammobile I search for g900huub1ani1 and I see 3 countries listed.
Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay, panama
which one do I choose? does it matter?

Hello. If you are using SuperSU, it has a built in unroot option you can use. Try that first before flashing a firmware.

thanks for the info. I just did that, and when I go to do software update, I get the os system on my device has been modified error. I am assuming I have to restore the phone to original state, I don't know/think the unroot via supersu worked 100%....

It probably did - but you probably ran some rooted app that made some change you didn't "unchange" before you unrooted - and that also stops an update.

As far as the ROM, yes, the country matters. It has to be the ROM for the same country your original ROM is for. (On some models it won't matter, on some it'll cause the phone to bootloop - it depends on whether there were hardware changes for different countries/carriers for that particular model.)
