Need mixer app to set app volume levels relative to each other

When I'm driving and listening to streaming music with, let's say, the Google All Access music app, while also using Maps for turn-by-turn directions, I can never turn the music up loud enough because then the voice from Maps blows my ears off. Is there a type of mixer app that let's you adjust the volumes of different open apps that are running concurrently so I can solve this problem?

I don't think it's possible. I know Apple Maps has a volume setting available but it seems Google Maps does not. I believe the Google Maps sound volume is designed to be higher than music volume to inform the user of directions that should be taken, thus prioritizing it over music.
