So, I'm running the AC-ROM rebooted, reloaded, revisited, or whatever it was called. I don't see it stickied anymore so I'm taking it that it's not being developed anymore. Any rom suggestions??

CM6 if you want something lean, fast, and stable. If you are feeling adventurous go with CM7 nightly. I am running CM7 and it is surprisingly stable and very cool.

CM is great for a "pure" android experience that you can take and do whatever you want with, but you can also get Myn's for a already customized sense based rom which a lot of people love. Spend some time over on the development thread at xda and check out some screen shots from some rom threads.

I'm running VaelPak 3.0 and it's been rock solid for aver a week now. I loved the Cyanogen 6 ROMs but had stability issues with them. Not sure what caused the instability, but lots of others don't seem to have the issues I was having. Lots of people using Myns ROM also but I haven't tried that one yet. You might also want to read up on other Kernels as well. There seems to be good variety out there that offer different benefits, like high performance or ultimate battery life. It's lots of fun playing with different options, but it's a lot to maintain and keep up with as well. Have fun!

All of the above posted are great, as well as MUIU. Currently I am testing the C7 nightly and love it minus the GPS.

MUIU-Is different from the others with an iphone type theme. Some people do not like this rom as they do not like the iphone theme, however, I have found I have had incredible battery life with this rom. Enjoy testing!

Look at the CM7 Nightly post. I just posted how I got GPS working per a tip over at XDA Developers forum.

AOSP- CM7 (Stable even though its still nightly)
Non-Sense- Vaelpal
Sense- Myn Rls 5
Nuff said!

I'm new to the whole rom thing too, but right now I'm using myn. I want to use cm7, but I will wait until 4g will be available. I am tethering at home so it is very important to me

Yea myns a great choice...and you know they got 4g working on cm6?

Agree on Myn's. I just recently rooted after building up the nerves to do it, flashed a few ROMs and just loved Myn's. Added a custom kernal and I can go the whole day and come home with around 40-50% battery remaining.

i haven't flashed a kernel w/ myn's rom, which one are you using?

I am on cm7 on my Evo and aside from small issues it's rock solid. Super small install for me. You'll get lots if extra space. Plus it's gingerbread!
