Need serial number but dont have phone

I need to find a serial number to a phone I No longer have I have the imei but need serial number

No I don't have box and to change number on my Samsung account but sold phone the phone I bout from a guy 2 years ago

I used to work at Verizon and this is probably your only option. To my knowledge carriers only track activated phones via the IMEI as that's what is connected to the account and SIM card. Otherwise besides the receipt, box, or phone itself I don't know how you'd get the serial number.

To change your number go in to your Samsung account >profile info>add or delete numbers

I was going to say I can't remember but looking at my Note 20 U box right now it doesn't have the phones serial number on it so I doubt it would be on an invoice even. Serial number isn't even on the outside of the phone nor inside the SIM tray, only way I can find if is within my device settings.
