Need some serious HELP!!

Ok, i am completely new to this android/smartphone shenanigans! I just recently got an Optimus T through Tmobile...completely by accident. My original phone samsung highlight's screen froze up so i called to get a replacement. Well they discontinued them so i was upgraded to this phone. Im kind of getting the hang of this thing. First question, do i need an antivirus program such as avg for this phone? Task killer? I do not use the WIFI calling that is on there but it is always running and I cannot force stop it. Why? Then i recently installed bejeweled through the android market. When I tried to play it, it said I needed to have flash running. Why dont I? And can I not get a flash player download with out having to pay for one or root my phone? I really didnt care much to have bejeweled but once told I couldnt play it....i want it! Can someone please give me a simplified explanation of all of the above.

Type all of these questions into Google and you will find an answer, you just need to read....alot.

Thats all i have been doing! it keeps telling me in order to get adobe flash player my phone has to be rooted. and im just coming to terms with the fact the wifi thing will remain running even if wifi is turned off. im tired of reading. can i please just get the quick answer. lol thanks!

Wi-Fi calling is easy to turn off just turn off the Wi-Fi thats all and as far as Flash Player go I think the LG Optimus T is not compatible with it. I have the same phone and I don't know why you don't want to use Wi-Fi calling It work great where there is free Wi-Fi and your phone signal is low.

Android 2.2 has the ability to force close programs through settings -> applications - > manage applications -> running. You can get 3rd party task managers from the market as well, though I wouldn't say they're necessary (I don't use one).

As long as you turn the wifi calling off through the app's interface, the impact on system performance should be negligible.

The processor in the Optimus T can't handle flash (remember, this is a low-end phone).

I know there is a running app option in the settings to turn stop the running apps but i dont know what any of them are! and if stopping them will screw my phone up. guess ill do what the first person suggested and google the names of the running apps i dont know....and ill just install a generic bejeweled....hell i dont even like the game. just thought it was cool to have on a phone. THANKS EVERYONE~!!

Having your Wi-Fi turned on Gps turned on and surfing the net a lot will kill your battery fast. My phone will run for two day if I shut all that stuff off.
It's a cheap phone what do you expect from it. Good luck with your phone. I
love mine even if it can't do every thing.

Hey, thanks everyone for your tips! I ended up actually purchasing a stupid antivirus...oops! Only to find that i didnt need it! ive now rooted my phone, deleted some of the system apps that always run (drive smart, telenav, stock demo games) just to clear up some space. I think tmobile sent me a pretty used battery to begin with but im dealing.

I get a pretty good signal where i am at...but the wifi calling app always running even when my wifi was not turned on, was really bugging me...but ive come to terms. thanks!
