Need tips on going from Note 10+ to Note 20 Ultra.

This is my first unlocked device so I'm excited I get to choose what bloat I want or don't want. I need to know what I need to do ro make the transition from my note 10 plus to the note 20 ultra as pain and stress less as possible.

Not hard, just follow the screen. It will prompt you to do the transition.

I understand. Should i transfer app data or just start downloading them again because I have my homescreen in a patricular configuration.

Are you login in using Samsung account? I use the transfer method and it has been working great for me so far.

Yeah I use Samsung cloud or smart switch , but I like Samsung cloud

The last time I used Smart Switch, it transferred my configuration exactly how I had my S-8+ laid out, which I appreciated. Especially because it transferred two apps that were no longer supported for download by my Note 9.

Let's say it's looking like an option, now. This doggone J2 is driving me batty for anything but calls, it just can't keep up with anything I need a phone to do, and I want to return to carrying one device again. When I did a Smart Switch into the J2, I had to tell it not to transfer the majority of content from my Note 9, It simply doesn't have the Bones to tote that load!

I always use Smart-switch to an SD card. Then when the new phone comes in put the SD card in the new phone and restore. It is faster than the cloud.

Seriously considering the new Note, one of the iterations, haven't decided which, yet, can't go completely hog wild just yet.
