Need to adjust storage space

The Atrix comes with 10+ gigs of storage space available with 9 set aside for music and less then 2 for apps. How can I change this? I do not put much audio on my phone but love apps. I do not wish to drastically altar my phone either by rooting.

I believe some apps come with the ability to store them/move them to the SD card.

True but i am still losing 9 gig of space. How do I get that back to use for apps

I don't think you can do that (or atleaat not without some hacking)
I guess if you ever ran out of space , you can always Apps2SD feature
Still it could've been worse !
Like ending up with less then 200MB for apps (like my Milestone) or 320MB (like the Xperia Arc
