Android Central Question

Hi, I'm pretty familiar with the Android system (ex. How to root a phone; How to unbrick a phone; How to download custom OS builds, etc.).

So since I have a phone my cousin gave me to fix it for her, it's an LG G3 D722.
I have fixed this phone before but this time when I go to LG PC Suite (I'm not manually reinstalling the whole OS like I used to on other phones, because I don't think it's THAT bad...unless there are...seriously, no hopes for it anymore...THEN I would manually reinstall it), the LG PC Suite doesn't detect the phone. I tried going into recovery mode (holding power+volume up button at the same time until I see the LG logo and then releasing them for 1 second and then holding power+volume up button at the same time again), and then try to detect it but it still didn't identify the phone. I also tried going to download mode (holding vol. up key and then connecting the USB to my PC)...which actually worked it said "connecting" but it kept failing after like 30 seconds, so that's a bummer.

After all this I tried using LGMobile Support Tool which WILL reinstall (or rather say "upgrade") the OS for me, but it said that I need additional 624MB free memory...

Which comes to this question: How do I factory reset a phone from a soft bricked phone?

P.S. There WAS an option for me to factory reset the phone from recovery mode, but after I clicked that it kept bringing me back to the bootloop...

Thanks in advance,
Ivan Ilievski.
