Need to get SMS messages off of broken phone

Dropped my Sony Xperia Z3 , the screen is shattered. Can I get my SMS messages off of the broken device via my PC somehow? I used My Backup Pro and backed them up to the SD card but they are not there.

Try CM Back-Up in the Play Store.
