need to make nexus 7 see usb stick as internal storage

would like to use nexus 7 2013 with my Line 6 Amplifi Amp Remote App, (larger screen easier to navigate etc.

unfortunately the remote app for the amp does not see the music files i wish to access as part of my "Music Library" because they are on an otg usb stick. (it only sees the internal storage)

i have tried several different apps to bridge this but i'm either doing it wrong or it may just not be possible

A USB OTG device will always have a different path than internal storage - just the way the file system works. If your device was rooted you could probably find an app that would allow you to 'mirror' a path on internal storage and point it to a path on external storage, but I'm not sure you'd be happy with that solution.

Can't you just copy content from the OTG drive to the internal storage?
I realize that you may have way more music on the OTG drive than will fit in the internal storage, but you should be able to put a decent chunk on there and swap it out as necessary.

You could also contact the developer of the app that you use and request that they add a feature that lets you browse to the location where your music is stored - that would be pretty straightforward.
