Need to pull pictures badly

I have a vzw galaxy nexus that doesnt have a sim because I switched out of it to a different phone. I factory reset the phone and put pictures I needed for work into it. I didnt activate it with my email (derp) and just locked it with a pattern. I can't for the life of me remember it and I've tried much of what I could have put but to no avail. Its unlocked because of Samsung; they must have unlocked it or something when I sent it in for screen repair. However, I did not root it nor did I enable usb debugging. I installed adb and tried to run it to pull the pictures out into the pc but nothing works so far. Anyone has any tips or anything in this situation?
