Need to replace stolen Razr Maxx

My Razr Maxx got stolen last week, and it's apparently not going to be returned.

I need to replace it myself, because I've still got a year left on my contract. I'm looking at ebay, of course, but wonder if there's a safer place I should be looking.

I'd like another Razr Maxx, if I can get it for a reasonable price.

Keep an eye out on the following sites:

1saleaday.com
dailysteals.com
icemonkey.com
bensoutlet.com
woot.com

These are all daily deal sites that sometimes sell refurbished and unlocked phones at pretty good discounts. I've never seen a Razr Maxx for sale on those sites, but I have seen phones like the non-Maxx Droid Razr, the original Galaxy Nexus, and some HTC phones (the Rezound, I think). Not too bad for a temporary replacement.

I bought mine on ebay, just made sure the seller was verified and had a bunch of positive reviews. I'm pretty rough on my phones and I always buy them used

The Razr Maxx is an awful phone. Fantastic battery life, if you can get it to go five minutes without crashing ;)

Sorry to hear about your troubles. My Razr Maxx has been incredibly stable and reliable. It's not that common a complaint on the Maxx forums here.

For over a year I didn't have a single problem with mine that was stolen. And for 1.5 years my husband hasn't had a single problem with his. We both love them quite a lot! My new (used and fairly banged up) doesn't seem to be having any issues either.

I suspect you may have had apps installed that didn't play well together.
