Need to Unroot my Galaxy Note 8

[Android Central Question]

I purchased a second hand Note 8 in mi t condition however the device is performing badly apps don’t work and I get the message when I want to use popular apps like outlook Device Non Compliant. This app can’t be used because you are using a rooted device. Contact your it administrator for help. So someone jailbroke this phone and I want to set it back to stock so I can use it. I used simply unroot App from the store but no use it says my phone is not rooted then it says test build detected. Does anyone have any advice on how I can get this back to a stock note 8.

Use Odin and flash the stock firmware from sammobile

Thanks for your reply, I have created an account. I will give you some more details. I tried to follow a couple of Youtube vids to no avail. The issue is that with most of them it involves finding a Firmware from where I am from and all I can find is us, China etc the model of my device according to the settings is sm-n9500.

I watched a couple of vids and they basically state that I needed to get my phone in download mode and when I follow as is instructed either the screen does not appear or I get the following.
which is all in Japanese or i think it is. I have no idea what has been done. I have been to the Sammobile site and for my model of the device there is only firmware from Hongkong or china and I am from the UK.

Right I think I know the issue, I believe the phone is a fake Note 8 so you live and learn. from what I have looked on the sites to compare the real with the fakes I have purchased a fake so you live and learn.
