Need to use USB OTG while charging

Is there any way I can use USB OTG while simultaneously charging my new Nexus 7? I want to get this cable (Amazon.com : Micro USB Host OTG Cable with Micro USB Power for Samsung i9100 i9300 i9220 i9250 by AtomicMarket : Micro Usb Host Otg Cable W/Usb Power : Computers & Accessories), so I can hook up this ethernet adapter instead of using the wifi (Amazon.com : BobjGear USB to RJ45 Compact Fast Ethernet Adapter made for Android Tablets; also works with Ultrabooks, Windows, Linux, Mac, ChromeOS, Android TV Sticks MK802, MK808, UG802, UG007, iMito, Favi. BobjGear One Year Adapter Limited Warranty), but other reviews have said that I'd need a custom rom, and I do not want to get a custom rom because I want to use Android 4.3. Any way to make this work?

I may have this all wrong... but,
Can you not just get a wireless charger ( The one for the Nexus 4 ) or a wireless charging pad... and charge your tablet while you are using your OTG Cable ?
You don't need a Custom ROM for that because support for USB-OTG comes from the Kernel.... NOT the ROM.. which of course is already baked into the Nexus-7's Kernel.

I was Rooted hours after upgrade my Nexus 7 from the 16 Gb to the 32 Gb and running Scott's Stock Deodexed ROM which gave support to flash a Custom Power Menu but otherwise you would have not known it was not stock 4.3 Jellybean.. And the *Clean ROM* with Aroma support is now out and is the ROM that I am currently using which again, if you did not know.. looks exactly like your 4.3 stock Jellybean but allows you to do so much more..
I just wanted you to know you can Unlock your Bootloader, Root and install a Custom Recovery to take advantage of your Nexus-7 and still install a ROM that for all intents is imaged Exactly like the one you are running now.
