Needs help with connecting to my facebook account

Every time i try to s my phone to my facebook i get an error messages that say (the process com.htc.bg has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.)

can someone please help me out with this.....i've tried everything that i can think of to get it to work but nothing has seem to work.

I had this issue when I first got my Slide as well. Try doing a battery pull and then uninstalling then reinstalling the application, then try it again.
