News Netflix and Disney Plus are on a password-sharing crackdown, and families are feeling the pinch

No Netflix here, but for reasons other than their sharing crackdown. Even then, I wouldn't expect my daughter to pay $8 a month more for us to use it. I have Disney's Legacy bundle, but that just went up to over $20 a month and while my daughters were sharing it, it would now be well over $40 a month. Not happening. As much as my granddaughter likes Mickey's Clubhouse, she'll have to do without when she's here and Thing 2 can pay for it herself if she wants granddaughter to be able to watch it. I'm done. One can end up shelling out $200 a month on streaming services, not including the price of the internet by the time one is done if not careful.

I love how password sharing was a "surprise" to the industry. Give me a break. You let people password share because it got viewers used to wanting the service's content. Then when they hit maximum viable subscribers, they crack down on password sharing in the hopes of creating more subscribers from the sharing people.

i'm still not seeing any issue. my family shares pws all the time, still works.

All these services, subscriptions, add them up = Small fortune.
Yeaaas, I will "stick it to da man" If I can... Sorry, not sorry ❣️
Just trying to spread the LOVE.
