When I try to open the app it says that there is a new upgrade available. I could not download the new upgrade, so the app did not work!!!

I do not know where I can get the new upgrade
Thank you in advance!!!!

On 2.2 bonsai and did the upgrade. Now it doesn't work for either.

Netflix will not work on 2.2 Froyo on Epic because the DRM configuration is not as good as the DRM on G.bread on the Epic phone. On the other hand, it was working on the EE03 G.bread leak. Now Netflix got an upgrade and I do not know where to find it. My phone could not find it.

I am on Kanto's GB ROM and I have no issues with Netflix... if you are on GB you should be able to just download the app from the market... I was originally using the modified .apk file, but then I did a search in market, saw it listed, and downloaded from there... I guess I have the most current version... the rest of you on GB should be able to do the same... my phone shows as a Nexus S in About Phone, so Netflix should be visible in market... I just tried the app 1 minute ago and had no trouble streaming a movie...

I have it working on the epic 4G. Got it working on my friend's Epic as well. Here's how.

Use an app like root explorer to edit the build.prop file in the systems folder to what's listed below.

ro.product.model=Nexus S
ro.product.brand=sprint
ro.product.name=Nexus S
ro.product.device=Nexus S
ro.product.board=SPH-D700
ro.product.manufacturer=samsung

After you change the build.prop file, reboot the phone and you should be able to locate the app in the market place. If not, you can use an apk. If using an apk file, it will ask to update and will take you to it. So far had no problems. Tried it on various Gingerbread ROM's and each time no problem.

Where is the build.prop file?
