network and apps

okay two part question. First I've the steps to turn the LTE radio off to save battery life but my phone sticks on 1x and wont show 3g at all. Second, I got this I have apps on my old phone (droid inc) that i want on my tb but are no longer in market or cant remember where i go them so any one have a suggestion of how to get them off? Thanks again

well fixed the app part wasn't too hard really just download a file manager (i used adao) from market go to apps back up selected app then go into sdcard and its in the backup folder
