Network Problem 4g or LTE

Android Central Question

Bought a new Samsung S7 Edge to replace one that I broke the screen on.
Both phones are the same model SM-G935F
The new one has problems connecting to 4g and phone signal is poor
Both phones are set up exactly the same, with same versions of software, carrier configuration (Vodafone) etc.
The only difference that I can see is under Settings - Connections - Mobile Networks - Network Mode. In the old phone this is set at 4G/3G/2G (auto connect) but new phone does not have this, it has LTE/3G/2G (auto connect).
Can any one shed any light on this problem.
