Never received Mini informational email for second order

After ordering my P2 on Oct 4 I received an email on Oct 6 stating that I'll receive my Mini promo code 4 weeks after receiving my phone. On Oct 9 I cancelled my Verizon SIM enables phone an ordered an unlocked one. I was expecting, once again, to receive an informational Home Mini promo code email - never came.

Anyone have similar experience after cancelling and pre-ordering?

You haven't received your phone. As you said it stated up to 4 week after you receive the phone - not the order. There isn't an issue.

The T&C says; "Customers are eligible to receive one promotional code for each Pixel 2 phone purchased from Google Store." Per this, you should get a code eventually.

I understand this. My only thought was that I received an informational email about the forthcoming promo code after my 1st order, stating the 4 weeks. But not after my second order

I don't think it was an email that will continually happen. I think it was a big push from Google so people stopped panicking for not getting their free mini right away so they wanted to make people aware.

Makes sense. But like others, I was a little concerned when there was no mention of it in the order, or subsequent email

I wouldn't worry. I never had an email about the free Daydream or whatever from last year. After getting the phone I got the code without issue .

I did not either when I ordered on Oct 4. I found out about it later. I did get an email on Oct 6 mentioning the promo so guess I'm included. I thought I missed out on it at first.

I heard the cut off date " may be " after Oct 19th. on the promo.

My phone is not schedule to arrive til around Nov 20th tho according to shipping info

Since you got an email about the promo after your first order. I dont think you would get a second one on your second order as you mentioned in the first quote above.
They just notified you once for the upcoming codes they will send out later. So my guess you will get two codes in one email,when they send out the codes.

They probably wont notify you a second time since they know they already notified you .

You should get it eventually (after getting the phone). It shows on the Pixel 2 landing page.

I spoke to a CS supervisor about something re: my order and I confirmed the cutoff date as my order confirmation didn't mention the promo. He confirmed that all orders placed by Oct. 19 qualify for the promo, though of course the email won't come out until next month.
