Howdy folks,
I've been a part of Mobile Nations for quite some time, joining CrackBerry back in November of 2008. Since then I've occasionally poked my nose over here, but never took much interest.
Over the years I've been a die-hard BlackBerry user and abuser, it wasn't until this past September that I had to help someone figure out how to attach an Android device (the original Note) to a local wireless network that I realized how amazing Android was and how left in the dark we were on the BlackBerry platform. He had so many apps on his phone! Later that week I bought a Note just to see what it was all about and immediately fell in love, the screen size, the APPS, the Google integration. I fell in LOVE!
Today, I rock a Galaxy S3 running CM 10.1. I'm still a newbie at this whole Android thing but I'm eager to learn everything there is to know. It's been painful selling off all the old BlackBerry gear, but after seeing what BlackBerry 10 was, I decided it was time to switch to Android 100%. I also received a plush Lloyd doll that I now proudly keep on my desk, that helped in the decision making!
Day to day I work at Rogers up here in Canada, I get my toes wet in everything from broadcast to wireless. A lot of my favoured projects have involved LTE integration over the past year and a bit, which I'm now proud to say my LTE Androids will be at my side along the way.
Look forward to interacting with all of you!
Cheers!
