I went to the version store the other day because I couldn't beam photo files to my sister's S3. But the employee was able to do it with his Gnex and apparently with my phone it van only beam websites and YouTube. I asked how he can do it on his and it's because he rooted his and has jellybean on it already.
Is it good to root your cell and if so what are the steps and process in doing so? Will I lose all my data? How would I be able to backup the data? Are there any ramifications if I do root it?
