You don't have to wipe. I used the WugFresh toolkit and selected 5.1 (e version) , selected, no wipe, force. Took like 5 minutes. After the flash reroot and load TWRP even had time to update to the new Franco kernel.

I'll take a look at that kit tomorrow night. I don't want any custom rom or kerne. I need just a plain nexus for now

Man was hoping an ota file would be available by now! Wanna see if build E fixes my radio problems that im having with build D, since build E is said to have improved radio firmware.

So Google bowed down to Verizon. No wonder they insisted my phone was different from what they were selling. So I guess that means our phones will always be recognized as an unknown device.

The ONLY way your phone is different is the IMEI but because of this yes it will always be unrecognized

Hi everyone, has somebody noticed problems using pin sim at startup? Mine doesn't ask for the pin till I lock the screen and data services are all disabled. With 5.0.1 the phone asked me the sim pin and then the phone pin, now after the first pin for encryption it doesn't ask nothing on boot and shows directly my home. Only after locking it asks for pins. Has anyone noticed the same? Thanx
