I don't have these options under advanced...they are under mounts and storage, same thing? Please let me know asap so I can apply this!!

yes same thing.

also - i appears not ALL blur apps will transfer.
the blur calendar i couldn't get to work - googles was fine, but i thought the blur one was a little nicer looking
the car dock i just renamed to whatever .apk they had running the car dock and it was fine.
the home dock, i did the same thing, except i wanted the weather widget back on there, so i copied it over and it runs but wont put itself on the dock.
so doesnt seem like everything is 100% transferable

one more question. i made a nandroid before i did this, no if i want to go back to that(flyx) do i need to format system, data, cache, mount system before do a nandroid restore?

seems there is a bug in the email setup and I prefer the blur home/car docks. so i'm going to load my nandroid backup until this is a little more developed

also i should have titled this "less-blur" and not "blur-less"
there still is plenty of blur stuff in this rom, but i do think the "blur-home" is disabled/gone and a bunch of "stock" stuff like the calendar, clocks, docks.. etc are in there instead of the blur ones and i kind of prefer the blur ones.

this rom looks like it will have the same drawbacks that the tranquility rom has (for me)

personally, i'm not very interested in any rom until we get a cracked bootloader and can run an actual rom. so far everything is just the lazy way of stuff most users can do on their own..

I googled as well while I was waiting on a response and yes most directions show to format system, data, cache but I didn't see any mention of mounting system before applying nandroid backup...does it matter or is there a must way to do this?

you don't need to mount system to apply a nandroid backup

whenever I have NOT mounted system, I've bricked. so i always make sure i do that before I install from zip
I'm not sure if it's the same for a nandroid backup though

Yes, the my accounts now basically only functions as a viewer of what' you have active. Look out in the next few days for a blur rom, that makes blur very much so useable. Not quite on the level of a blur less rom, but very speedy and stable.

Most blur features can't just be added back in, it goes real deep into the system to actually take blur out, not just removing the apps. Also, most blur widgets won't work with adw, that's one of the drawbacks if you like blur. Just sit tight, its coming

Awesome thanks! I'll mount then just so I know I'm safe.

One problem I have with this rom is I no longer have the speech to text option on the keyboard, how do I get that back?

Sing it soul sistah. I don't get why they feel so compelled to lock it down anyway. The more people who brick their phones the more phones they sell. Well maybe not if Moto won't post a damn sbf. I guess they have to protect their proprietary open source code. Whatever happened to GPL?.

what's funny is noone really wants their code, a lot of people just want plain aosp android

plus with the pos work they've done with 2.2, i don't know what they're trying to protect.
