Howdy folks,

New to Android central forums, old on Crackberry.

I've recently crossed over to the world of android after years of curiosity. I am a current Blackberry Bold 9930/Torch 9810 user. Now while I know my Bberries are for from perfect or cutting edge. I do love using them (mostly the 9930) for email, text, music, banking , photos etc. I have the Bold paired to a Playbook and it is a nice combo.

Hmm, now for the not so great side. My wife owns an iphone 4s which she loves. I must admit videos & photos are great, web browser is fast and responsive and the abundance of useful apps are a plenty. Personally, I do not like the device nor it's interface. Yet for her it is the perfect companion. However, the iphone offers a lot that my Bberries don't offer and it's a shame.Because if they did, Blackberry would be a force to be reckoned with.

Android, Confusing (for me) at first. But with all of the updates and refinements. I was beginning to warm up to it. After almost 3 years of being around someone with an Android device, whether it be friend or work associate. I decided to walk in and pick up an HTC One X. A bold move (no pun), but one I am willing to make. Enough reading and research. I want to find out first hand if this is a platform I can live with or without. See ya on the One X threads.
